Sam is a qualified builder and licence holder for the company. As director and project manager Sam oversees the construction team and is heavily involved in project programming and deadlines. He runs the fortnightly construction meetings and regularly visits all current job sites.
Sam has continued in his father’s footsteps, displaying genuine passion for perfection in each of his building projects. This is evident through his carefully nominated team of work colleagues, extending out to his selectively chosen local contractors and local suppliers. He ensures that Build by the Sea delivers impeccable attention to detail and a high level of personal service.
He was born in the local area and has a great passion to be involved in an array of community projects to ensure the community that he admires and respects so dearly keeps moving in a positive direction.
Brian like Sam and Eddie, was Awarded Apprentice of the Year Mid-North Coast TAFE Awards.
He has a terrific eye for detail and a reputation for quality control. He is responsible for maintaining site co-ordination, on-site supervision, and site quality assurance.
Brian originally qualified as a maintenance engineer through the air force. He subsequently joined Build by the Sea as an apprentice carpenter. He has since completed his builder’s certificate and holds the head supervisor role for the company.
Brian is also a respected community member in Woolgoolga. He currently holds the position of Club Captain at Woolgoolga Surf Club and donates an enormous amount of his time to its operations.
Build by the Sea are honoured to have him.
Ricky is a born and bred Woolgoolga man whose family have been in the area for the past 40 years.
Ricky has been in the building industry for 15 years and has been trained by Eddie Broomfield. Ricky has been proudly working within our company for 12 of these years. He maintains the same level of service and quality that was instilled in him at the beginning of his trade.
Ricky’s dedication and diligence also shines through outside of work as he also owns and runs his own Blueberry farm, is a committed family man and valuable member of his Sikh Community.

Corey joined Build by the Sea in 2014 and brought with him great knowledge and strengths in all areas of carpentry. Corey is an easy going young man who can diffuse stressful situation with his kind and humble nature. He is very approachable and brings a harmonious balance to our team.
The Woolgoolga and Mullaway area has always sat fondly in Corey’s heart, as it was a holiday destination when he was a kid. He chose to relocate from Shepparton Victoria, along with his partner and two young daughters to settle in Mullaway.
Build by the Sea feels privileged to have Corey and his experience as part of our team.
Joel joined the team at Build by the Sea in 2014 after finishing his schooling at Woolgoolga High, stepping into the industry he had always aspired to work in. Joel enjoys the variety of work and challenges that carpentry has to offer. He is a keen and enthusiastic young man and is a valued team member of Build by the Sea.
Joel is also a keen footy player and the discipline he displays in his training carries through in the dedication and discipline to his workmanship.
Build by the Sea are happy to have the energy and enthusiasm that Joel brings to the team.
Katie has recently joined our team and is the friendly voice on the other end of the line when contacting Build by the Sea Katie’s main roles include customer liaison, plan coordination, marketing and invaluable assistance throughout the office. During construction, Katie would communicate with you on a regular basis.
Katie may be a familiar face to those in the Woolgoolga community. Having worked locally for many years in multiple industries you may remember her friendly smile!
